Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Sermon Catalog, operated by Strickland Digital LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By using our service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Sermon Catalog is a platform that helps churches organize, search, and explore their sermon library. We ingest content from podcast feeds and YouTube channels, transcribe sermons, and provide AI-powered search and chat functionality.

2. Accounts

You must create an account to use Sermon Catalog. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Only connect YouTube channels and feeds that you have authorization to use
• Not use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Not attempt to access other users' data or accounts
• Not interfere with or disrupt the service

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all sermon content, transcripts, and related materials associated with your church. We do not claim ownership of your content. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content as needed to provide the service.

5. YouTube Data

When you connect your YouTube channel, you authorize us to access your YouTube data via the YouTube API. Our use of YouTube data is governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke our access at any time by disconnecting YouTube from your dashboard or via your Google Account settings.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Free Tier

The free tier includes processing of up to 5 episodes. Free tier churches do not receive automatic feed syncing. We reserve the right to modify free tier limits.

8. AI-Generated Content

Our service uses AI to generate transcripts, summaries, tags, and chat responses. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. You should review AI outputs before relying on them.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strickland Digital LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
